Our Clean Pulling Oil Rinse contains only organic extracts and oils, which in some cases cost more than three times the conventional market price. Even pure 'natural' products can contain pesticides or plant protection products - with BU:KEI, we pay to ensure that nothing like that is in our raw materials.

When we go to airy heights, the closed, artificial environment in a plane causes a lot of damage to our skin - it gets dry and bombarded with oxidative stress. Our spritz lays on the skin like a protective shield of abundant antioxidants, and its dewy, herbaceous scent already puts us in the holiday mood.

It does not contain any conventional preservatives, and we do not add any water. Instead, we use nourishing aloe juice. The combination of squalene and natural shea butter makes this formula an intensive moisturizer. Organic grape seed oil and organic olive oil (Greek extra virgin), round out the formula for a silky soft feel.

Wash lotions often contain a combination of surfactants that strip the skin of its natural sebum. The skin's protective barrier can become unbalanced, leaving it feeling dry, sensitive and unprotected.

We use natural saponins and surfactants derived from plants. They result in a mild, only slightly foaming, but very efficient cleanser. In addition, there is no water in our formula. Instead, we rely on the hydrating power of natural aloe vera juice. Clinically tested saccharide isomerates and natural sugars gently remain on the skin after washing, to moisturize and protect even after rinsing.

We believe in mindfulness, respect and sustainability - towards nature, all living beings and also towards ourselves. Therefore, our BU:KEI products do not contain plastic, synthetic ingredients or harmful substances. All our products are free from microplastics, silicones, PEG's, parabens, mineral oil and artificial fragrances. They are good for the skin, good for the environment and good for all of us.

At BU:KEI, we care deeply about what we put into our products and what their creation leaves behind. For that reason, we carefully decided not to certify BU:KEI with a single organisation. A certification wouldn’t have reflected the scope of our environmental commitments, which extend to every area of the BU:KEI process and philosophy. Our ingredients are organic and ethically sourced; our packaging, labels, glass and the glue we use are 100% sustainable too. We meet all of the requirements for an organic product, but use the funds that would have been allotted for certification to support environmental charities and research into sustainable production.

BU:KEI products are made using no animal-derived ingredients, and are not tested on animals. We also do not commission any animal testing.
